At the assigned time, our local guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nasca and then you will be transferred to the local airport Maria Reiche to flight over the famous Nasca Lines. Minutes before boarding the plane, our guide will explain in detail about the Nasca lines. The overflight will last 30 minutes, in which you will see 12 immense figures engraved in the desert by the ancient Nasca. Upon returning from the overflight, our guide will be waiting for you to start our visit to the Chauchilla cemetery located 27 km. To the southwest of the city, there you can see a pre-Inca necropolis of 1200 years old, where mummies are displayed in their original tombs. Later we will visit a pottery workshop where we will know about the iconography and the elaboration of the Nasca pottery and why it lasts until the present time.
Afterward, we´ll visit the Cantalloc Aqueduct, a work of hydraulic engineering built by the Nasca civilization approximately 2000 years ago. These filtering galleries were indispensable for the ancient Nascas, since the coast of Peru is a desertic and hot place.
At the end of the tour you will be transferred to your hotel.
